Literally, depending on your circumstances it can be from as little as 0% to as much as 90%. Generally speaking, if the current value of your pension fund (or combined funds) is under £75,000 you may be able to release 25% to 40% of the value. If your pension fund is currently over £75,000 you may be able to release up to 90% of the value.
How quickly will it complete?
Successful applications typically take between 3 and 8 weeks depending upon the companies involved, the number of pension funds involved, and the complexity of the transaction. To have your personal situation assessed please complete the initial enquiry form.
Tax Free Cash now
Often payments from pension funds attract favourable tax treatment. Taking Partial Pension Release
Often it is possible to release only a fraction of your overall pension and then retain the balance within your fund. Every individual’s circumstances are different – to find out more simply complete the enquiry form.
Pension loans
Pension loans can offer the ideal way for you to get cash from your pension, subject to specific qualification criteria. Unexplored solutions often exist in many areas due to a lack of experience or knowledge. Many people are finding it difficult to get loans for their business at the moment, as the financial crisis has meant that many “conventional” lenders are tightening their lending criteria. Whilst we cannot guarantee that you will be able to benefit from releasing cash from your pension, it is another area worthy of further enquiry. Fill out our simple enquiry form to learn more.
How does the process work?
We are an “introducer” to pension release and pension loans companies. We do not offer any financial advice. We constantly check the market looking for the best schemes for you -
- We only work with UK companies, so that they are covered by UK legislation.
- Wherever possible, we check that the companies have obtained a written legal opinion from a UK Barrister or QC to indicate that their “pension release” or “pension loans” services are compliant with all current UK legislation
There are many names given to the different schemes that help you to get cash from your pension. But generally speaking, we work with two types of companies -
a) “Pension Loans” companies can usually help if your current pension value is £10,000 – £75,000. There are different options, but in general they offer a “pension loan” of 15% to 50% of the value of your pension fund.
b) We also work with a specialist “pension release” company who can help you to release up to 90% of the value of your pension, in a tax-efficient way. They only deal with pension funds (or a combination of smaller funds) that are over £75,000. Their product originated in 2005 and is fully disclosed to HMRC. They also have excellent reviews from previous clients. Here is an example -
Pension Release – Customer Review
from TC, London
Due to life’s ever changing twists and turns, I needed to access my pensions funds early and after a number of attempts to find ways of accessing my money, I finally found Pension Release and spoke with (staff member). We quickly reviewed my needs and they were able to provide me with a quick and pain free access proposal. The process was set in motion and a few weeks later Pension Release had made good on their promise. Pension Release were able to help where other companies just couldn’t and for that I applause their innovative thoughts.
